It has come to that point in the year, when it is the very last day of it. It’s always a strange point when you realise this year is really over and it always makes me a bit sad to close a chapter that was so awesome. However, it is also exciting to start a new year of adventures.
For the last day of 2016 I had a very nice distance run planned. However, after spending the last four days in bed being ill, I decided this last day of the year run will be postponed to next year. I am already looking forward to that.
Apart from this run, I don’t have any special plans for today. Just relax, watch some youtube video’s, read in all the great books I got for christmas and play some boardgames with the family.

Jammer dat je ziek bent (geweest) en niet hebt kunnen rennen. Dat haal je de komende dagen vast wel in. :-) Fijne jaarwisseling en ik hoop dat 2017 een mooi jaar voor jou mag worden. :-)
Ik heb het jaar vanochtend goed afgesloten met de oudjaarsloop van 9 km. 17 kilometers zijn me toch nog ietsje te ver.
